Orono Middle School provides a safe and caring environment where all students are empowered and challenged to explore topics and disciplines, reach their full potential, and become lifelong learners and contributing citizens. Four middle-school students competed at the Speech and Debate Junior National Tournament spring 2022. Outstanding performance by Maya Haugen who earned 1st place and National Champion honors in the Storytelling category!
