OMS Back to School

The 2023-24 school year will begin on Tuesday, September 5. Below please find the information to get your school year started.

• School Supply List
• OMS Picture day Thursday, September 7. You can review the Lifetouch photo packages and pre-order on the Lifetouch website with ID number EVTXW2NFP.
• Visit the Jostens website for complete yearbook ordering information
• Bus Passes will not be issued the first two weeks of school.  For more information visit the Student Life webpage.

Student schedules and lockers:

• Student Schedules:
  • Schedules for students in grade 6 and new-to-district students in grades 7 and 8 will be distributed at the New Student Orientation on Thursday, August 24.
  • Schedules for returning students in grades 7 and 8 will be available online in StudentVUE at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 24.
• Locker numbers and combinations will be available in StudentVUE after 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 24.

Back-to-school events:

• New Student Orientation
  • Incoming 6th-grade students on Thursday, August 24 from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
  • New-to-district students in grades 7 and 8 on Thursday, August 24 from 12-1 p.m.
• Chromebook checkout outside of main office
  • Thursday, August 24 from 7:45 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
  • Thursday, August 31 from 8:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. and 4:45-7:15 p.m.
• Student building access
  • Students are welcome to bring in their supplies to put in their lockers from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, August 31.
• Open House/Curriculum Night Thursday, August 31, from 5-7 p.m.
