Spring Conference Information
OMS Spring Conferences will offer In-person and Virtual conferences. Each In-Person conference provides 7 minutes and each Virtual conference provides 5 minutes for you and your child's teacher to discuss growth and progress.
- In-Person conferences will be Thursday, March 5th (3:30-7:30 pm), and Friday, March 6th (7:30 am-12:00 pm)
- Virtual conferences will be held Friday, March 6th (1:20 - 3:30 pm) and Thursday, March 12th (3:30-7:30 pm)
How to register for spring conferences
Spring conference registration for both in-person and virtual formats will open on Tuesday, February 24th at 8:00 a.m. and close on Tuesday, March 3rd at 11:55 p.m.
Conferences are available with your child's current teachers in grades 6-8 in the following academic areas: English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, Academic Planning, Art, Band, Choir, Computer Applications, Health, Physical Education, Performing Arts, Technology and World Languages
- To view your son/daughter's class schedule login into ParentVUE
- To access the scheduler go to https://www.myconferencetime.com/orono
- Select current teachers with whom you would like to conference and sign up for a time to meet.
- The confirmation email address that you enter will be used for the Google Meet if you sign up for virtual conferences and also for your in-person conference confirmation. If you wish to have an additional person attend the conference from a different location (virtual option), please enter that email address in the optional comments section.
- If you chose the virtual option, please visit this page for the link(s) for your conferences beginning Friday, March 6th at 8:30 a.m.

Virtual Conference Links
Orono Middle School virtual conferences will be held on Friday, March 6 from 1:20-3:30 p.m. and Thursday, March 12 from 3:30-7:30 p.m.
If you selected a virtual conference option during registration, please:
- Click the link below for your child's teacher at your designated conference time. (Teachers are listed in alphabetical order by last name and will use the same Google Meet link for the entire virtual conference period that day).
- Wait in the virtual Google Meet waiting room. Your child's teacher will admit you and appear on screen at your conference time. Thank you!
